Classic Check Border Stencil – 18" Round

This stencil creates a single-row checkered border around an 18" round.

1. Center the stencil over one side of your 18" round, lining the curved row of squares up with the outside edge. Position the stencil slightly past the edge of the round so the paint wraps over and covers the outer edges.

2. Secure it with painter’s tape and use a nearly dry stencil brush or foam roller to paint the open squares.

3. Lift the stencil, rotate it 180°, and position it on the other half of the round.

4. Line the end squares up with the first section, then paint the remaining openings.

5. The spaces between the openings stay the original background color, creating the alternating check pattern.
